I spoke with a gentleman at Carlisle last Fall concerning the speed ratings of the tires. He said the RH 15" were originally 87mph, but due to our wonderful government placing a tarff on imported 15" ST tires rated at 87mph, the rating has been reduced. Can't recall the 14" models, think they were the same as the 15" (87mph), but don't remember if they were changed also due to the tariff. 16" are rated for 75mph.
Has anyone heard any info on a new tire from Carlisle yet? They are suppose to be releasing a new tire this Spring. New tread pattern, slightly lower rolling resistance, but a similar price, weight rating, speed rating, etc to the current RH tires.
