I question the new 9000 btu unit will work with the Honda 2000. The Honda's extra 2 amps would probably be borderline, and as noted when the A/C cycles that 2 amps may not be enough. I would have to plug a new cub in to a Honda 2000, with the cub sitting on the pallet. That will tell the tell. If you find out for sure, please post.
Another option is to search for old stock Polar Cubs. I bet you could find one.
I think a couple of other RV A/C manufactures made A/Cs with the lower amp requirements.
