9'6" Camper-Do you NEED an extension to tow?
I recently got a TC and plan on towing my boat around a bit this summer and wonder if I need an extension? I haven't had a chance to play around with it yet and the camper is off of my truck right now...

I added a new 2.5 high rated hitch to handle the weight being extended farther. The leverage on the hitch at the end of a longer bar levers the hitch more.
I don't think you need more drop with extra weight. You should just measure to keep the same orientation of your trailer especially if it is dual axle. Generally speaking the trailer tongue should be level.
