So this weekend I am browsing thru Craig's when I spot an '08 Eagle Cap 950 for sale at a RV dealer's lot about 100 miles away. I put it out of my mind until today ...we are getting another snow storm so I decide to look a little closer at the units pics on their website which happened to have a vin number.
I google Eagle Cap and get a phone number and make a call to see what they can tell me about this specific unit..if it had any warranty work...issues...etc.
I immediately got to speak to Brad at Adventurer. He explains the history of Eagle Cap and their several ownership changes. He proceeded to explain that if the nose cap had any leaks and needed to be removed for repair that most of the time since they were glued on they are destroyed in the repair Additionally they were not in possession of the molds to make a new nose cap so proceeded with caution.
I appreciate the time he took with me and the guidance provided. Good folks!
Agreed...I have communicated with Brad several times...always helpful.
We had such a positive experience with our Adventurer when we upgraded to a slideout we stayed with AMLRV.
Clarification on the nose caps; AMLRV does in fact still use a 1 pc molded nose and rear cap.
Perhaps Brad was referring to the old design tooling?
