One of the greatest pleasures, of my continuing adventure, is not the amazing scenery I see along the way, but the people I meet and the growth I see in some of them in the time that has gone by since I have seen them last. One important “people” is my granddaughter, Annabel. Recently she joined Grandpa B’ for a few days out on the road. This particular morning she was tasked with gathering a few wildflowers for our table, while I was busy inside my Lance Truck Camper, preparing her favorite breakfast. Keeping an eye on my little girl, is paramount in these remote locations and this morning was no different. Watching her through the Dinette window I knew I had to grab my camera, which I did. I called to her and she turned and I shot, through the screen and open window, which provided just enough texture to the shot. This reminded me of the day of Kodak Slide film. Yes, some of the best photos we grab are not always the iconic shots of the ocean, the Sierras or the changing sands of the desert.
