If I begin to expand my camping area where I find myself towing several hours on any given day, I'd probably move up to a TT.
Huh? If you are going to spend all day behind the wheel of a tow vehicle, you'd rather have a giant view-blocking, wind catching, gas-slurping behemoth attached to the back? Can you explain why?
We've pulled our conventional popup (same profile as an Aliner) across most of the country and consider it's road handling characteristics one of its primary benefits. When a semi truck blows past me in the next lane, I get ZERO push from the trailer on the steering wheel and need take no corrective action. Can't say that with most TTs.
The only downside to our pup for such travels is the inaccessibility of the kitchen and bathroom at rest areas. I'd think with the 30 second setup, an Aliner would address that shortcoming nicely. In fact, I'm thinking we might get one as a retirement trailer someday. What's the downside for longer trips?
