My husband and I are on our second Aliner. We first had an Aliner Classic, but found it a bit tight. We now have an Aliner Ranger 15, a poorer cousin of the Expedition. We love the built in cassette potty, the extra floor space (a 15 foot box, which is 3 feet longer than the Classic), the 60x80 queen sized bed, the outside shower, gas struts to help raise the roof, and the ease of set up (about a minute to put up the ceiling and side walls). It's a dream to tow - no WDH/bars needed with a half decent tow vehicle. I'm a member of a ladies camping group, and it's no problem taking it out by myself on those occasions.
If you'd like to look at a small TT, I'd recommend looking at an R-Pod 178 or 179. One of the members of my ladies' camping group has the 178, and she loves it - tows it with a 4 Runner, which is similar to the Highlander you're considering.
