A Next Generation of Campers Humor Break

So my 4 and 2 year old sons each have a late '70s Tonka Winnebago toy motorhome and love to push them around the house - non stop and much to the chagrin of their mother. Anyway whenever they are done for the night the campers are parked with awnings deployed and doors facing each other that way "the people can have s'mores together" (from the four year old)

I guess our camping trips are making an impact. Good night (or day) everyone.

  • Thanks for the comments everyone - the boys love playing with their motorhome or as the two year old calls them "Oh-homes" and truth be told I like the toys too.

I am quite impressed with how sturdy the toys are. You can't find full metal toys anymore - even the "all metal" tonka trucks of today have a lot of plastic in them. I am sure they will last a lot longer and then hopefully be around for grandkids.
  • You must be raising them right -- notice he did not say "so they can drink beer together."
  • Great Picture Too precious! It is 'very' heartwarming to see there are still some parents out there that encourage good ole fashion kids playing with toys to stimulate their minds instead of shoving them in front of electronics. Kudos to you! Thanks for sharing the picture. :C

AND you get them to put their toys away! You deserve the parents of the year award!
  • I remember having one of those when I was a kid, great to see the kids still enjoy the toys of the past.
  • Cool to see those are still being enjoyed!

I still have mine, my other brothers and sisters shared two of these and I gave mine to my DD a few years ago. She still breaks it out once and a while..
  • I had one of those! GI Joe traveled in style when I was a kid!
