Well a plug in fridge is the easy way to go, no venting needed. But then you always need 110V power to make it work. I'm a boon-docker and love the fact that I can and do run down the road with the fridge on in the gas mode (except when pulling into a gas station). I find it very nice to have our fridge running when we use our trailer or truck camper off grid.
I've rebuilt several dry rot RV's but I attacked the situation from the outside. I carefully removed the siding (it bends easy) and rebuilt the bad parts, then put the exterior skin back on. Can't wait to see how your project turns out. All the best, Hans
