Idaho_camper....I like putting the little guy in blaze orange so I can see him from a distance if he starts to wander or chase the critters...also helps with keeping him from being accidentally shot:)!
Steeljag....didn't try to get a TV signal and had a very weak 4G signal every once in a while but for the most part we didn't have a signal...and we are on AT&T...many here are on Verizon which I've heard has a little better reception in the mountains.
From folks with more time here than us (we are still very much newbie's) we've heard that Colorado has gotten more snow this year than what they've gotten in the past couple years...although we've had a warm up this past week which has melted a lot of snow away...
It was really a great weekend...and now that we aren't using the truck anymore other than to carry the camper we can usually grab the rig and be on the road within about 10 mins of arriving at the storage facility. For these quick weekend getaways we've just been bringing what we need for our outing in my truck and then transferring everything to the camper and away we go!
Looking to do another trip in a week or two...possibly over President's Day weekend and this time heading south into Arizona or SW Colorado.
