I'm sorry I haven't been totally clear :S
There is a vent that goes from the fridge to the roof and there is no vent cover on it, only a screen that keeps critters out (as the current owner stated)
I guess we're going to check it out again, just more thoroughly this time. We're looking for a mid-size truck camper and we're finding them hard to come by. We're going to ask that he take it off the truck so we can inspect the box and we will lift the panel for the fridge components and check for corrosion and we might just pour some water in the hole and see where it goes. And then we might just ask if we can remove the fridge :B
If anyone else out there has any other ideas about where to look for problems, please let us know. It will still be a few days before we make it back to the camper.
I have posted on here what we are looking for, but no one has gotten back to me on that... we're looking for a short bed camper, ready to go or needing a little TLC is ok but we can't really afford more than $2000.
