Try putting a want ad online and/or in some local papers. By want ad I mean you want to buy what you are looking for. Many times folks nearby will have what you want and they don't even realize someone is looking to buy it. Be prepared to pay a little more, though, due to supply and demand. Could turn out to be much cheaper than driving hundreds of miles to buy something sight unseen.
