About to purchase preowned Lance 1161 questions, new to TC's

Ok folks, new to the board here and completely new to truck camping so apologize for the newbie-ness :P Sold my 5th wheel, going to a TC to simplify things (got tired of paying $125 a month to park...

As for the bed receptacle, if you want to relocate your current one...

I just bought and installed myself an 8 foot length 7-pin harness from etrailer. Delivered, it was like $65. Super easy to install. This is cheaper than some of the extension cables, though it does require you to drill another hole in the side of your bed.
