Purchasing question

The biggest concern would be the dimensions of the portion that sits below the bed rails of the truck - will it fit, or is the truck bed too tall. Same for the cabover - will it sit high enough about the cab of your truck.

Open your photo in Photobucket. Click in the box that says Direct. When you click, it will copy the data automatic, if not, copy it. In RV.NET, click on the photo icon. On the box "Enter the complete URL for the image.", paste the data from Photobucket. Make no entry in the Height box. Enter 640 in the Width box. Then click finish.

doesn't matter how the appliances look, how do they work? a refer, furnace, etc. and you have a cost of a newer one.

If there's no visable rot, ceiling paneling not bubbled or soft jack attachments solid and appliances WORK without leaking gas, etc side walls solid then you have potentially "good bones" to work with. Having just finished some rehab on our older camper be advised that the repairs can get expensive. Aged plumbing can seem fine till pressured up then the leaks will start. Test water lines with 12V water pump not city water as its quicker to cut the water supply off and reduce flooding. Been there done that! Ours has definitely been worth the expense. Those bathrooms can get expensive and the wait times for component delivery can be long. Good luck.

Travel Queens were super well made. Our first camper was a 1969 and it didn't leak a drop when it was 30 years old. Leaks are almost a death sentence for campers, so if you see any signs of leakage, know that there is likely damage to the frame in that area. For $300 though, I could stand a little frame damage here and there if it wasn't a crucial spot like a tie-down point or under the sleeping area.

If the furnace and stove work, that's excellent. If it has a refrigerator, turn it on and see if the vertical column on the back side gets hot. If it heats up, the coils look intact, and you don't smell ammonia, it likely works.

We loved our TQ.

If I can figure out how to post pictures I'll post them. I bought it today for $240. Practically free in my opinion.

Do you expect to haul your new TC on a Kaiser Jeep, 5 quarter M-715? I always thought that would be a good TC hauler with a change of engine. How many TC's can be hauled with the front windshield folder down? Not many.
This is going to get interesting.
