I believe you got the right truck for the job, fair price if as good as you say and yes get the generator installed with a push button. You will like your torklift tie downs too. You may want to take a look at adding torklift stable loads before you think about any air bags.
Happy camping in Alaska.

Will look into the stable loads, got a similar recommendation elsewhere. Was told to do airbags as a "last resort" because it can get pricey. From what I had read between the Torklift and Happijac systems I felt comfortable picking the Torklift setup. A bit more pricewise but it is vehicle specific so I know it's going to fit right. Next thing I will probably get are some Fastguns, he has some generic spring turnbuckles, was going to get some Fastguns when I picked up my tiedowns but shop had them at 299 for a set of two so a complete set of 4 would run me 600 bucks. I can get them for about 480 for a set of 4 off Amazon with free shipping so I will probably order a set of those soon. Bent over and took it in the rear for local pricing on the Torklift tiedowns at about 600 bucks for the front and rear set. Can get them on Amazon for 430 bucks! Unfortunately I need them TODAY else I won't be able to get them installed till next month and will miss out on 30 days of prime Alaska fishing! Watched a youtube installation video, didn't look too bad but I'd rather have it professionally done. Carrying that kind of load in the back, I wouldn't trust my backyard mechanic skills (or lack thereof lol)
