Man you guys are hard core when it comes to batteries. I really think 200 watts solar is plenty for a truck camper. I have switched to almost all led's. I do have a generator also which I don't mind using.
I don't think I am going to hear what I want from you guys :( That ok though that's why I asked!!
I probably will try this this way and see how it works. I am not going anyplace where a dead battery would be a big problem. I also follow voltage closely. I can just use my jumper box to start my truck if necessary I have no doubt if I was a full time or anything close I would not try this route. Now if this is a failure or works fine I will be sure to let people know my results. Also if I find I am draining the batteries way to fast I will get a second dedicated battery.
