We often boondock in really hot weather. We have a gen and A/C but most of the time we tough it out.
Here's some things that help:
Use a pop-up or beach umbrella for shade rather than the RV awning. The breeze isn't blocked off by the RV. The beach umbrella is compact, takes less storage space. We drive a piece of angle iron into the ground and duct tape the umbrella to it.
We bought battery powered, personal fans. The one linked HERE is excellent. Quiet and runs a long time on batteries. We found them at a Walmart. Really good for sleeping in the heat.
Just to throw this in, an associated problem is the frig can't keep up in hot weather. We either freeze bottles of water or buy a sack of ice and put it in the frig meat bin or a large pot.
