Accelerating my brake controller applies the trailer brakes

Has anyone ever seen this before... I have an Hopkins Insight Flex controller (HM47297). It works as it should when applying the brakes, numbers as high as 45/55, however when I accelerate I see th...

I second the question on how it was wired. I wonder if you accidentally tapped into the wrong wire when hooking it up. I'm thinking something like the voltage fluctuates or pulsates with speed on the power wire.
