Accelerating my brake controller applies the trailer brakes

I used the built in wiring, and I will double check on the brake lights... I will have the wife follow me next pull and see if the lights are on though just the same.

Got me thinking, the cruise control stop working years ago and I never fixed it (the pedal switch) / Wonder if that switch has anything to do with it...???

Note: The controller has been replaced already with the same results.
