Add Awning To Slide?
Apologies for the crossthread if you're also on the Jayco Owners forum. I have a 2015 Jay Flight 33RLDS & I'd like to add an awning to the door side slide. Has anyone ever done this? Is it even possible? Thanks.

- Don’t see why not. A lot would depend on the skills of the installer.
My question would be what is the effect on the slide when the wind buffets the awning?
Is there room to add the awning over the slide so it is attached to the trailer? - Not 100% sure about your Jayco, but from what I understand it needs to be done during the build..
I was told my a manufacturer a few years back that they NEED to "pack out" behind the slide for the awning rails to mount to for support....
