I've used a Prodigy brake controller and a factory installed IBC system. And hands down, the IBC is WAY better! If there is any way to the IBC installed by the dealer, do it. Not sure if the Rams can do that or not, but I know GMs cannot be added after leaving the factory.
Now that being said, if this truck is a good deal, I don't think the IBC would be a deal breaker, but definitely something to keep in mind. Good luck.
