Tested the factory installed integrated brake controller on my 2016 Ram 3500 for the first time yesterday (double axle toy hauler). Had to adjust the gain up to 8-9 (max is 10) to get good braking, but bottom line it worked as well as the aftermarket brake controller I used in my Tundra.
Good to know. I have to use 7.5 with my current setup on both my horse trailer and toy hauler. My father-in-law thought that was a bit high, but that's where it ended up after I did the braking test. Do you have a heavy/light setting?
