We just sold our wood framed 2003 Adv 810 WS. That camper was also very good to us, in fact we stayed with AMLRV brand. (Adv/Eagle Cap).
I would have no issue with going to wood framed camper. There are advantages to both wood and aluminum. Both work well.
Nothing but good to say about our previous Adventurer, many thousands of miles, cross country, ski camping, etc...
