Don't allow yourself to be scared away by this construction method. I have yet to read where anyone has posted to having issues with premature rotting or mold. Think about this.....when a screw is installed into just aluminum framing, only one or two threads are securing the fastener. When that same screw is installed into a"solid core anchor blocking" method, all the screw threads are helping to secure the fastener. It only makes sense which fastening method is going to be stronger.
Do your own homework and keep an open mind.
