I am not a big fan of awnings myself. We just dont use them. It depends on how you will be camping. We move alot and really dont bother with deploying awnings. Its one option that I did not order with my AF. I do like slide out toppers but in your case you wont have to worry about that.
It looks like the Lance 855 has more interior storage overall, but it doesnt have the large cabover wardrobe like the Adventurer does. They both have a very similar floorplans. I do really like the Adventurer rear deck comfort step. Check that out if you haven't yet. Im sure its an option but well worth it.
Neither TC has much outside storage but it looks like there is a storage bay under the Adventurer rear entrance door.
