AS IS is always scary to me. Unless I know that I can handle the issues myself that may / will be present I stay away from anything that is AS IS.

I would go back to dealer and ask them about it. More than likely you will be stuck but it all depends on their mood. Maybe they would allow you to apply what you paid to another unit. Sorry to hear about this.
