That would depend on how much you use it and how much it is exposed to the elements. If properly maintained, I'd guess 10 years or better with average usage, maybe more. That's a downside to PUPs. If it's wet when you take it down, you need to put it back up at home to dry out. Mold and mildew along with UV rays are the enemy of PUP canvas. Keep it clean and dry and it should last a long time.
