Havent dealt any with the Starcraft larger tailers but this OFF-ROAD 14RT POPUP has really been one nice of a trailer. It weighs in at 4200 lbs with my load... Has very large trailer tongue and frames under it supporting a 12-box and 5x8 front deck...

I will most likely find one of the bigger POPUP style trailers made by STARCRAFT being their 36RT version to finalize all of my OFF-ROAD emergency comms trailer... This model has dual axles under it...

Unlimited possibilities here for more OFF-ROAD mergency items...

  • Starcraft is owned by Jayco and you will find many similarities between the 2 brands. I have a StarCraft Travel Star Galaxy travel trailer and have been very happy with it.
  • We love our Starcraft. It was reasonably well built, and our personal modifications made it well worth keeping for a few years.
  • Our very first camper was a 2000 Starcraft 19 footer. It was a good unit that gave us zero issues. Of course, that was years ago. Not sure about their current quality.
  • Star Craft is a very old company. I had one of their pop-ups 30 years ago. It was a good unit.
  • We're on our second. First was a 2007. Had it for 4 1/2 years. Just sold it and bought a 2016. Very happy with both

Lloyd "Jay" Bontrager was a design engineer for STARCRAFT before he and Bertha started JAYCO. That's why, in 1992, when Starcraft went bankrupt Bertha decided to buy their assets and keep the company going. There has always been a long standing connection.
