Brayhaven,
We have towed a 2010 Visa 19ERD for a couple years and the tires are wearing OK (looks like I will get at least 7500 miles on the $75 bias ply tires), so I guess there is a chance an axle will be OK. Philip Abele (on the facebook Visa forum I think) found the tires on his Visa wearing badly, so he went to a frame shop and they straightened his axle - I didn't even know you could do that to a torsion axle! So, thanks to Philip, there is a more inexpensive solution if Visa owners have the problem.
For your info, since March 2013, new Visa 19's have a heavier duty axle (rated 4000lbs instead of 3500), next size up tires, and 4" higher off the ground. And they changed the name to Vista Cruiser. All needed changes - except the name change - now I suppose I will be searching on two different names!
