Are you saying that "formaldehyde" is the only chemical compound that can "outgas" ?
If you read my comments, no where did I say that formaldehyde was used in the produstion of this material.
I am curious, is your background or degree in chemical engineering ? If so, could you enlighten us as to exactly what the chemical composition is of this material ? I would be curious to know exactly what oils and other compounds are used in the production of this product, and exactly which compounds give it thermoplastic characteristics ?
You, at least on the surface seem to be implying you have a engineering background in the design and perhaps produstion of this product, so unless you are bound by ND agreements, I am sure many here would love to hear some in depth details.
Moderm material engineering is a fascinating science, and it's always good to hear views from those who are intimately involved and have an insiders knowledge.
