For the most part, the only "potential cons" were presented by me. You are the one who is stating unequivocably that there are "no disadvantages" to the use of this material. I don't proclaim to be an expert in this material, as you do, so I was simply asking what your trained expertise is that would help us conclude that your comments are valid.
Believe me woodglue, you can take this to the bank: there is absolutely nothing you could say to me that I would take "personally".
Again, to get back on topic for the OP, this azdel material is an interesting product, that certainly may hold some advantages in the construction of an RV. For me personally, more evaluation is needed. As for luan, there are hundreds of thousands of RV's roaming the roads right now, that are functioning just fine. I am on the road right now in one such trailer.
