I would suggest that if your RV is constructed of these newer composite walls, you keep up on the maintenance of leak prevention. The materials discussed are basically waterproof but that doesn't mean there will be absolutely no problems should water get into the wall structure. Besides the obvious issues of aluminum oxidation, foam saturation, and fastener failure, there may also be delamination within the layers. Water coupled with heat can do a lot of damage.
