Just last summer, gas prices were double what they are now. The priorities were the same. Folks that want to camp / RV. Know they will have to pay the price. Towing and high MPG don't go together. Don't fit the same sentence.
If you want higher MPG then you would need to drop to a popup type of camper. But most want the TT to be ready to walk in with out raising the top first.
Barring that. If you want high MPG. You would need to begin to think Motel, and a smart car. Not really an option fro most of us. Especially the smart car.
