I have a 3rd generation 06 Dodge 2500 Quad cab CTD 4x4 long bed with many upgrades that make my truck a 3500. Check out my sig...Own a 2012 Adventurer 86 FB non slide which fits both short and long bed trucks. The actual Dry weight of my camper with options is 3089 pounds. Truck and camper dry total weight was 10,400 pounds. Loaded for a trip I came in at 10,900 pounds wet.I looked at a 2012 86 sbs too and am sure that model is heavier that stated. All Truck campers dry weights are heavier that stated. Best of luck in your search.
