Backpacking or hunting way back in on horses is only done with creek water that is filtered for drinking and boiled for dishes....lol...I enjoy packing water and running the creek water through a quality filter like a Sawyer and then putting ultraviolet light to it to kill the viruses..it makes camping more fun to me than totally relying on an RV..This winter I made up a gravity feed for creek water larger quantities..
We all have our own ideas how camping should be..I was raised the way I do it..
