These 1 ton trucks are meant for hauling weight. the overload springs are meant to be engaged when hauling heavy weights. With the air hauling the load it has been my experience that you get way to much sway. I found when I had air bags there main advantage was to balance the load. The springs need to be engaged considerably to handle the sway. JMHO
