Aside from that, I believe that you are misinterpreting the ratings of the airbags. When it says "5000lb capacity" that does not mean the truck's rated payload PLUS 5000lbs. They supplement the truck's springs for carrying loads UP TO 5000lbs.
Not only that , it is the total weight on the axle not just the cargo weight .
