Don't care what the package says. Does it say, "Adds 5000lbs capacity?" Really. So my 3500 DRW with 5200lb payload capacity will have a 10,200lb payload capacity with 5000lb airbags? Where am I ever going to find something that heavy that is small enough to fit in a pickup bed in everyday life?

In other words, I can't possibly prove/disprove their claim so they feel safe to make it even if it isn't true. I certainly don't buy it when I look at the big beefy spring pack that's designed to carry 5000lbs and compare it to that flimsy top angle bracket held by four tiny bolts that is also supposedly designed to carry 5000lbs.

When sale add always have tricky wording, in this case I understand that bags add 5000lb capacity to the spring leaves and that is pretty clear. You still have original differential, original wheels and original frame, so something else can give.
Those brackets do hold pretty well, although I bend them slightly on my F450 that was used with 10,000 lb payloads.
Bear in mind that spring pack not only carries the load, but holds the differential from flying behind the truck.
