Thanks for the replies. KKeller, I don't have a dually, I have a SRW with an Outfitter Apex 9.5, but prior to my airbags my overloads would touch the bump stops, as shown in your 3rd pic.
mkirsh, I agree and maybe didn't state properly. I guess my point was that if you had a 5000 pound camper, and the airbags were maxed out, all the weight would be riding on the airbags, and none on the factory suspension.
I have ordered the Torklift Stableloads and should be able to install next week before our next trip the week after. I think we all agree there is some balance between how much load the airbags take and how much the springs take, but I wasn't sure how close to the bump stops I needed to raise the overload via the airbags. It sounds like just touching is the way to go, and for me that is around 25 psi.
P.S. KKeller, my previous rig was also an Arctic Fox 1150 on a F350 dually, with airbags, but I mainly used them to level the camper side-to-side because of the slide-out weight, and didn't really think about the interaction between the springs and the bags. Thanks for the help.
