Air bags how to use them

I am thinking of putting airbags on my 2015 f350 it rides fine but it squats when I let the weight of the toyhauler. My question is how much air needs to be put in and how hard are they to install. Also when you get to a campsite do you need to let the air out and refill them after hooking back up to leave. Will a small compressor work for this. I don't want the onboard compressor.
  • Not apples to apples, but I put Firestone Ride Rites on my Ram. It was an easy install and took about an hour. Recommend a good tool selection especially 1 1/8" deep socket, 6mm hex bit socket and a 9/16" ratcheting box wrench. They don't take much air so a small compressor would work. Leave the air in while running around, just a rougher ride.
  • On my chevy you only needed a wrench or two and a couple hours. My onboard system was nice until it started leaking. I got fed up and just use a bike pump. I run about 40 psi wuth the TC, the suspension bottoms out on bumps with less.
  • I put Firestone on mine easy only 1-2 hours. I use a bicycle pump and have about 12 - 15 psi in them when towing, They are suppose to have a min of 10 psi in them so I check occasionally and keep them at that
  • Not real hard to install. Add air to bring the truck back up to near empty height using any kind of pump, even a hand pump. I installed a wireless compressor and that makes things real easy. With stored in memory settings, I can adjust for empty and two different trailers with ease.
