I have had airbags and onboard compressor on my last two duallies. I love being able to change the pressure on the fly when the roadways dictate. They take the jar out of bridge expansion joints and level out my ride. Some, but not all of the Big 3 trucks have what is known as "launch shudder" which is a vibration in the drive train, under load, when taking off from a stop. It is caused by the angle difference of the drive shaft to pinion. Like I said, some of the trucks have them. Some don't. Airbags are a great way of stopping that too. I won't tow heavy without them again. Like I said, mine is dually and I have a 3100 pound pin weight. So technically, I don't really need them, but they are fantastic in my opinion.
