air bags

In order to level out my 2008 toyota tundra with my 2007 lance 815, i'm running 80lbs on the driverside & 25lbs on the passenger side. is this normal?
  • Reading these post really a 1700lb Tc then add gear add people and the rest on a 1/2 ton and I thought I was nuts with a 5500 lb on a 1 ton DRW I done sized to a 4600lb AF-990
  • Yes that is very good advise, I almost got blown over east of Bakersfield coming down out of the mountains back in May. I was in a F150 with a hard side TC. Between Mohave and Tehachapi is some terrible wind. That's the scariest thing Ive ever been through.

TCs in general are a little heavy on one side than the other, be careful in side winds with that Lance815 on that 1/2 ton.

    Thanks for the advice

  • Yep, I have to do the same thing, more like 30 driver, 70 passenger for me. Heavy slide on the right side plus a built in Generac I never use.
