Were getting to reinstall one on ours. I anticipate, other than initially getting it up there, removing existing vent that cleaning of self leveling caulk will be the main chore...
When I 'broke' our 13500 few years ago had decided, as we only use once or twice a year not replacing due to cost, weight etc. 3 years later have since decided that the once or twice a year is worth the cost & weight (110° at 10:00 at night outside of Needles).
Kept the inside unit-I assumed if ever we replaced AC would go with a similar Coleman mach, save a bit reusing. But larger solar panel is an issue, too close to where AC rear would be and antenna with wingman.
Looking around Dometic Brisk 11 roof foot print is considerably smaller, 29" long verse typical 41", though +4" height at 12 5/8". Also 20# lighter @70#. Ordered ours thru Adventure- less than 400 for top & inside unit. Though I believe smallest btu is 13500 so more amp draw (+3) than a mach 8.
Just need to relocate our Fantastic Fan-not giving it up. Getting power to it will be intersting, address the antenna. Details...
