Air conditioner noise

I want to remove mine and replace it with a dome. Then, add two 5000 watt window units in cabinets. That way I can use my generator and use one in the bedroom at night, or the living room or both when needed. Best of both worlds. Quiet, efficient, and very inexpensive.

Another good option is a high wall or mini split with the outdoor compressor mounted on the hitch or the bumper. All the noise outside and quiet cool air inside.

I am surprise they give no manual at all. Lance put all manual in a nice nylon bag. Also seem your dealer is not very good is explaining how your TT work when he delivers

Well, I have learned a lot. We didn't get a manual so I looked it up online. Now i know why the a/c fan never turned off and i know why the a/c worked while the furnace did. It has an auto setting, but it doesn't show up unless I click on fan, then the plus sign. A manual would have been really nice. So all is well; I am a happy camper.

bmj11, thank you. The story gets a little stranger. Tonight we are camping in cool weather so we need the furnace, not the a/c, but the a/c comes on and blows cold air as the furnace is blowing hot air. My dealer gave us nothing in the way of literature to read or study, did not even give us warranty cards. We are going to visit him tomorrow.

Seem they install the wrong thermostat . What brand of AC do you have?
The Coleman Digital stat do have the fan auto/on option.

There loud. There is no way to move the necessary amount of air through the small space required by a camper AC and do it quietly. From what I've found the quieter they make them the worse they work. You have to have air movement. The return warm air and the output cold air all have to get into and out of the AC in a 14 inch space. It's amazing they work as well as they do.

A small sound bar will make up for the puny speaker in most television sets.
