Air conditioner noise

I recently bought a Lance travel trailer which we like. However, when the roof air conditioner turns on, it seems very loud. We have to turn the TV way up. Suggestions?

You could do what I did. hooked the TV to the radio, and run the TV sound thru the radio ceiling speakers. I got all the volume I need now.

I did that with the previous RV and it made a big difference.

  • At night you can lower the noise level by turning the AC fan to low.
  • If it is a non ducted air conditioner the noise can be especially loud. A bit quieter with ducted AC.
  • Sounds normal to me. Never been in a TT where the A/C was quiet.
