I personally do not like the AirLift 1000's, I've currently got them in the coils of my GMC Acadia and they constantly split and need replacement. I would look for a stronger product / stronger coils before installing those AirLifts again.
I have the air lift ride control on my X and it works great.
Maybe the suspension in my Acadia is the problem, but I have always loved AirLift bags in my pickup trucks (with leaf springs) over the years however in the coil springs of my Acadia they have been horrible. They are wonderful when working, major improvement in ride height and handling.... now I just need to keep them from splitting.

I do agree that the bags inside of the coils will limit the life of the bags.
