Air Pressure 19.5 tires

As in my earlier post showing new 19.5 wheels and Dyna Trac PD890 16 ply load G 19.5 tires I have question regarding air pressure. Firestone near me removed my other wheel/tire package and mounted my 19.5 visions and tires last Friday for free. Had them inflated fronts to 80 psi and 100 psi in rears I thought but went and check tire pressure cold this morning and fronts were 72 psi and rears were 92 psi. Temp was 79 with 84 % humidity. No direct sunlight on any tire. Drove 20 miles on highway with TC/truck combo to a doctors appointment and checked them there. 80 psi fronts and 100 psi rears. Should the cold readings be 80psi and 100 psi or is it ok the way psi is when tires are heated up?

  • Ideally, the tires should be checked cold. The manufacture realizes the psi will be higher when hot. Depending on their size, I bet you the psi is the same as mine.

  • Those should be your cold readings. I run 80 front and 110 rear when towing. 100 rear when only carrying the TC. 80 rear when empty.

BTW: Those are Load Range H tires.
