Air pressure when not towing
I run my truck tires at max or close to max when towing (80psi). Was thinking about lowering them down when not towing. Anyone else do that ?

At max pressure my tires are rated for 3,415# each, I have about 5,100# on the axle when loaded. That means that at max good for 6,830# and only carrying 5,100 I run about 70 psi. When I drop the fiver I drop to about 55 psi, if you run max all the time your tier will go bald in the middle.
