Does this modification stop the turbulence and related wind noise on the "lee side" door/window area in quartering crosswind from the front?
We travelled at 50 to 55mph through a Chinook front last January, with the wind at about 1:00 o'clock off the starboard side at 60 - 70 mph (wind speed not road speed).
The wind noise at the driver's door was nearly deafening...
If the wind is straight headwind this turbulence is not there, as soon as we start bucking around 20mph crosswind the racket starts...
