I worked in research for electric vehicles during the 90's. I ran a chassis dyno also. You are correct about the 48mph. The algorithm found by using " coast down" information would always show numbers around 50 mph. It could be a school bus or a GM EV-1, that was always the same. As for truck campers, it is important to know just how much aerodynamics affect our mileage and stability. We are leaving for Novi Scotia Friday so I will have to wait until we return to play with some ideas for the sides ( interfacing the camper and truck ).
